Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?

No. Dr. Asbaghi can not provide treatment if you are a Medicare or Medicaid recipient due to the restrictions Medicare and Medicaid place on self-pay arrangements. It is your responsibility to inform Dr. Asbaghi of the fact that you are a Medicare or Medicaid recipient, or if you become a recipient during the course of treatment

Do you accept insurance?

Dr. Asbaghi is out of network for all insurance providers; he does not accept insurance or bill insurance companies directly. Dr. Asbaghi will provide a receipt for services rendered which you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Do you offer virtual visits; also known as telepsychiatry?

Yes! Patients must be located in the state of New York at the time of telepsychiatry sessions, unless other specific arrangements are made. I use a high-quality, HIPAA-compliant video teleconferencing service with end-to-end encryption.
